Visual Walkabout

I recently listened to a webinar on Integrating Digital Media into your lessons which was delivered by Discovery Education. Many of the ideas made me think about the way I have been using digital media with my own class. So this week I have decided to try out some of the ideas and see how it goes. The one I am going to try is Visual Walkabout. Our Topic this term is New beginnings and part of the topic is a look at Spring so I have printed out 5 Spring pictures which I am going to enlarge to A3. I will put them around the room and ask the children to walk round each one in turn and note down what they can see and what this could mean. Watch this space...........................
